Every IPv4 block is registered with one of five Regional Internet Registries. Which one yours comes from changes how quickly it is provisioned and what paperwork follows — not whether it routes.
No blocks are listed yet. IPv4 Hub is onboarding its first verified owners, and nothing is published until it has been checked against its registry record. The regions below describe how each registry works when inventory is available — list your space or tell us what you need.
The block routes the same way whichever registry it came from. What differs is how fast the records are filed, what reassignment paperwork applies, and how much of the market wants that region's space.
ARIN supports API-driven provisioning, so ROA creation, reverse DNS delegation and SWIP reassignment all happen automatically when a lease activates.
ARIN is the strictest of the five registries on reassignment records. If you reassign a /29 or larger to a downstream customer, that reassignment should be registered — the customer portal has a SWIP section for exactly this. ARIN space is also the most sought-after on the leasing market, which is reflected in price.
RIPE's database API lets us create the route object, inetnum and reverse DNS domain object as the lease starts.
RIPE requires a maintainer object (mntner) on every record, and the owner's maintainer is what authorises changes. Because RIPE publishes its whole database openly, a RIPE lease is unusually easy for your upstream to verify independently.
APNIC supports API provisioning for ROA, route objects and reverse DNS.
APNIC space suits networks serving Asia-Pacific users where routing locality matters. Registry records follow a similar maintainer model to RIPE, and the region's address scarcity means clean blocks let quickly.
LACNIC has no provisioning API suitable for automation, so our team files the same records by hand.
You get identical documents and routing objects — a signed LOA, a ROA and an IRR route object — just filed by a person rather than an API. Every LACNIC listing states the 48-hour window before you order, so nothing is a surprise.
AFRINIC is provisioned manually, in the same way as LACNIC.
AFRINIC is the smallest of the five registries by allocated space and has been through a period of governance disruption, so availability is thinner than elsewhere. Blocks are verified against the registry record exactly as they are in every other region.

For routability, no — a /24 from any registry is announced the same way and accepted by the same networks. It matters for provisioning speed (ARIN, RIPE and APNIC complete in minutes; LACNIC and AFRINIC take up to 48 hours), for reassignment paperwork, and sometimes for customers who expect address space registered in their own region.
Yes. None of the five registries restrict who may announce space that is leased rather than transferred. Geolocation databases may place the addresses in the registry's region until they are updated, which matters if you serve location-sensitive content.
Demand. ARIN space is the most requested on the leasing market, and ARIN exhausted its free pool earlier than most. Price per address is set by each owner, not by us, but the pattern across the market is consistent.
Only who files the registry records. Instant means the owner has connected their registry API and the objects are created automatically at activation. 48 hours means our team files them manually because the registry offers no suitable API. The documents and objects are the same.
